Christmas cross

Shaun Smart, Mark Holland, Chris Dobson and myself all raced in the pre-Christmas cyclo-cross at Dunsfold Park. Unfortunately, Roger Hammond was a non-starter, but two of the best, if not the best, riders in the country Ian Field and Jody Crawforth gave a demonstration of speed by finishing five minutes ahead of the next man.
We were ably supported by Eugene Bardwell and Mrs Eugene (Christine) and Chris' girlfriend (Linsie?) who all braved the chilly conditions. I read that the sun shone, but I must have missed that.
